“ I recently visited the Black Dog Cafe at 229 Lake Ella Dr, in Tallahassee, FL. I enjoyed my experience having a breakfast at this place. The decor is a little eclectic maybe but very homey. I went to the register and the very nice person helped me with some questions and I had a breakfast bar with coffee. Both were very good. Thanks ”
“ I love love love Black Dog! This is one of my favorite places in Tallahassee. It’s right next to Lake Ella so you can get coffee and walk around the lake. It’s also a nice place to study or read. There’s a lot of outdoor seating. Their drinks are great, currently they have a red latte made with Rooibos tea and it is amazing especially with lavender added. Cannot recommend this place enough. ”
“ A very nice and quaint cafe. Their coffee is delicious and very reasonably priced. They don’t have too many food options but they are all amazing and again for a good price. There’s always a decent line but they move very quickly. Being by the park, the atmosphere is great, a good place to get some coffee and enjoy your morning by the lake. PS: My GF lost a small gold circular earring here that means a lot to her so if you find it, please send me a message lol. 10/10 would recommend. ”

“ Went here for a first date. It was actually perfect. We sat outside under a big tree near the water. The tables were spaced far apart, so it felt pretty private. We were maybe like fifteen feet from the trail that goes around the lake. People would walked by every now and then. There are tons of ducks. The sun sets across the water, so it's very pretty in the evening. ”
